ZongZi!!!!!😋😋😋

Thank you Nainai! Not to flex, but I have the best grandparents in the world. Today, I'll be sharing with y'all just one aspect of everything my Nainai does for me: FOOD! This is Zongzi. Although it translates to sticky rice dumplings, it's not exactly dumplings as you can see in the photo. However, it works similarly. Zongzi normally contains a mix of rice and meat, but my Nainai adds a variety of different ingredients including salted duck egg yolk, chestnuts, mushrooms, and more. Once wrapped in lotus, reed, maize, banana, canna, shell ginger, or pandan leaves, the Zongzi is sent to the pot to be boiled. Out comes a leaf-wrapped BUSSIN gift that is sure to fill you up. A Chinese dish traditionally eaten during the Duanwu Festival, more commonly known as the Dragon Boat Festival, Zongzi is also eaten in Dimsum. But why go to Dimsum when you have a Nainai like mine? Thank you for always making this for me! Love you forever! 10000000000000/10 BUSSINS!!!
